On May 10th, Los Altos took a significant step toward a carbon-free future at the 2026 Electrification Expo (LEF), organized by GreenTown Los Altos. As a company dedicated to sustainable engineering, IRBIS Air, Plumbing & Electrical was honored to participate as an invited partner. The event was a vibrant gathering of residents, experts, and innovators, all focused on a single goal: transitioning our homes from fossil fuels to clean, efficient electric power.
Hands-On Innovation: The 37MUHA and Modern Water Heating
To show that the "all-electric home" is already a reality, we brought our most advanced technology to the Expo. Our booth featured a live demonstration of the 37MUHA heat pump model, widely considered the gold standard for efficient, year-round climate control. Visitors also had the chance to explore the Rheem ProTerra high-efficiency water heaters. Our team walked homeowners through the technical benefits of these systems, showing how they provide superior performance while drastically reducing the home’s carbon footprint and improving indoor air quality.
Guided Path to Efficiency and Savings
One of the most rewarding aspects of the Los Altos Expo was the opportunity to engage in deep, one-on-one consultations. We understand that navigating the world of electrification can be daunting, so our experts were on hand to provide clear guidance. We helped expo participants understand how to optimize their home's energy use to lower utility costs and, most importantly, how to take advantage of the complex landscape of available rebates and federal tax incentives. Our goal was to ensure that every attendee left with a clear, financially viable plan for their home’s energy transition.
Inspiring the Next Generation of Drivers
While the adults explored the technical side of electrification, we made sure the youngest members of the Los Altos community felt part of the movement. We brought along a fleet of our small toy trucks featuring the IRBIS logo to hand out to the children. Watching the kids play with their new trucks while their parents learned about the future of energy was a perfect reminder of why we do this work: to build a cleaner, safer world for the generations to come.
