I'm thankful we found IRBIS to help when such a big issue occurred. We had a real problematic situation where luckily it wasn't summertime yet, but we had a newborn and the AC wasn't working during a warm winter. We had initially called a different company and got quoted a very high price that left us stressed and overwhelmed. IRBIS was very professional, responsive, and made us feel like we were in good hands. They sent someone out quickly who did a check and initially refilled the refrigerant, but after a few days of the AC working, it broke down once more. What impressed us was how IRBIS handled the situation. Instead of brushing it off, they sent their review technician to review the work done by the first one. He caught that there was a leak in the ceiling unit's coil that hadn't been properly diagnosed before. They walked us through all our options: Wait several months for the coil part to arrive or do a full unit replacement right away. We were nervous about having to cut into the ceiling and replace everything, but Ben (huge shout out) patiently answered our questions. The work itself took two days and was done excellently. The team was respectful of our home and careful throughout. They had to coordinate a contractor to patch the ceiling after and it was done really well. In the end, it was a stressful situation but working with IRBIS was very positive and we would definitely recommend and use them again in another HVAC situation.

Fast schedule and good service. My water heater has intermittent problems. Contacted IRBIS and they returned my call within 20 minutes and scheduled for next morning visit. Johnathan and Jeff came over on time and diagnosed the system. They found the problem and the parts are still under warranty. They contacted Rheem and ordered the parts and directly shipped to my address. Once the parts were here, they came out and replaced it. They tested the system twice to ensure it works before leaving. I highly recommend this company.

I just got a heat pump system installed by IRBIS, so I am reviewing based on the experience so far. The experience was very positive. Justin came out to inspect and provide the quote—he was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The installation team—Jose C, Jose T, and Dzmitry—were absolutely superb. They worked efficiently, kept everything clean, and were very respectful throughout the process. A supply duct issue was identified during installation, and they didn’t just work around it—they took the extra step to address it properly, which speaks to their commitment to quality. The only minor disappointment was that I wasn’t aware that my existing thermostat wouldn’t be fully compatible with the new heat pump system. Unfortunately, the new system doesn’t show up in my phone app like my previous system did :(. I wish this was checked and I would have purchased a new one before the installation. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this team to anyone looking for HVAC service.

We could not have been more pleased with the professionalism that we experienced working with the IRBIS Team. The process began with a site visit by Justin B, who did an evaluation of both the existing system and the +/- of our units’ current location. Within 24 hours, Justin provided us with four detailed estimates. They ranged from a barebones replacement of our existing AC unit to a total HVAC upgrade. Justin also provided us with the information concerning rebates and tax credits available. Our choice included a rebate and tax credit. Prior to installation, Santiago from IBRC’s rebate team reached out to confirm the process and timeline to secure the rebate. This provided confidence that the rebate process was in motion and would not result in a “Hanging Chad” issue, to be resolved later. The installation team arrived as scheduled. Alex, Ivan, and Javier performed a site tour with me to explain the plan for the day and the extent of modifications to expect. Alex and his team were at all times courteous, informative, and not only left the site clean but cleaned as they went. Small touches, like wearing shoe slippers whenever entering the house, is just another sign of respect for the customer’s home. At the end of the first day, Alex provided a walkthrough of the work that had been completed and provided an update of what were the final steps. The installation was completed ahead of schedule on the following day. In a business environment where often customer service is impacted, we always felt we had the full support of the IRBIS Team.

Got a heat pump installed from Irbis. Everything from the beginning to the end of the process top notch. Ray was super informative, patient, and not pushy. He wanted to make sure that we understood the process and what we were buying. Rodrigo and the team did an amazing job with the installation. It was a very 'white glove' approach in making sure you knew what was going on along the process. They made sure I was happy with the end result before they marked the job as done. During my research, I quoted with several other contractors. Some were more or less in the same price range, where there were a few other contractors that were completely overpriced and didn't even fully inspect the crawl space. Those other vendors also wanted to sell me a 4-tonne unit, which from my research (thanks /r/hvacadvice) was way overkill for a 1500 sq ft house. I mainly decided to go with Irbis because they didn't rush the sale and answered both of the concerns of my wife and me.

Let me start off by saying these guys are great! Ray helped us understand the trade-off between hybrid and electric for the replacement of our furnace and addition of AC with a complete replacement upgrade of all ducting. Jose, Benedicto, and Jose (the installers) were outstanding. They were prompt, respectful of our property, responsive to a couple of on-the-fly decisions, and did a high-quality, clean installation. These guys were top-notch and very competitively priced — overall a great value. I would recommend them to anyone and use them again.

Smooth Installation Process May 20, 2025

We had a heat pump water heater and whole house water filter installed today by Alex and Ivan. The whole process from the quote with Justin, to the communication with the office, and installation process were extremely smooth. I was told it would be a two-day job; however, Alex and Ivan arrived right at 8:00 this morning and stayed until around 7:30 pm to complete the entire job. They made a strong effort to minimize time with the water off and keep everything very neat throughout the process. They were great at communicating during the day and keeping me posted on what was going on. The office handles everything with regard to permitting and applicable rebates. I do not hesitate to recommend them based on my experience thus far!

Great experience with Irbis. They use ServiceTitan, so you can see exactly when they will arrive. AC wasn’t really functioning before they came and now it’s almost too cold for us. They found and resolved multiple issues: old parts, clogged filters, and faulty ductwork. Great work! Update: 5/10/2025 Just had a heat pump water heater installed. Ivan was our tech. He did a great job, explained everything and made sure I was happy with the installation. I’m happy!
